Our Therapists

Tamarah Corrigan (She/Her), RSW

Location: In-Person and Virtual Sessions Available

Treatment Specialties: Stress management, anxiety, depression, mood fluctuations, interpersonal relationships, substance use, and life transitions.

I help post-secondary students and young adults create balance and find a sense of well-being.

Are you grappling with feelings of stress, overwhelm, anxiety, or mood fluctuations? Are you overwhelmed with academic pressure, fears about your future, or feeling isolated socially? I know how you’re feeling, and I have created a safe space where you can share your thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment. We will explore who you are as an individual and what kind of life you would like to live by discussing your values and what ultimately makes life meaningful to you. Together, we will work to improve your overall well-being, while emphasizing self-compassion,  so you can address the pressures of being a student, or starting a new career, without feeling engulfed in stress.

I have been working in mental health since 2020, and prior to 2020 I supported post-secondary students on campus. My own lived experience, combined with my training and education in evidence-based approaches, such as ACT and CBT, help me to truly understand your experience and support you with moving through difficult emotions to feel lighter and more fulfilled.

As a human, I truly believe everyone has unlimited potential and capacity for growth. I value one’s own lived experience as knowledge, and encourage clients to bring this to session as we work collaboratively. I provide support that is rooted in being client-centred, trauma-informed, and anti-oppressive. My approach is compassionate, warm, welcoming, and collaborative.

Jennifer Bondoc (She/Her), Registered Psychotherapist

Location: In-Person and Virtual Sessions Available

Treatment Specialties: Burnout, chronic stress, anxiety, depression, BIPOC/cultural concerns, trauma, anger issues, grief and loss, resentment, self-esteem and self-worth, interpersonal conflict, emotion regulation, spirituality, work-related challenges, communication issues, pregnancy and post-partum, infertility, maternal mental health, parenting issues, general life transitions.

What's your story? We all have one, but sometimes we don't have a safe space to process and share it. Through respectful and honest conversations, I want to establish mutual trust, hear your story, understand your experience, and help you explore what next steps may be right for you. I believe positive change is best accomplished with support from others. Using an integrative, individualized approach, we'll work together to discover ways you can move towards confidence, healing, peace, and purpose.

A bit about me - I have completed my MA in Counselling Psychology and am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. I also have a BA in Family and Social Relations and a BEd in Primary/Junior instruction. I have been certified with the Ontario College of Teachers since 2006.

I have travelled extensively, lived and worked abroad for several years, and appreciate cultural diversity and learning from others' experiences. I am actively involved as a volunteer in my community and am particularly passionate about fighting against modern-day slavery. I enjoy quality time with my family, browsing in bookstores, and a good cup of coffee. I also love the outdoors, especially when it's warm and sunny.

Vandya Puri (She/Her), RP (Qualifying)

Headshot of Vandya Puri - Rise Psychotherapy

Location: Virtual Sessions Available

Treatment Specialties: Anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem and awareness, life transitions, grief, work-related stresses, and working on personal development

Hello, I’m Vandya Puri, a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and a member in good standing with the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals (OAMHP). I hold a Master’s Degree in Applied Counselling Psychology from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences in India, and I’ve been supporting individuals on their mental health journeys for over eight years.

I believe therapy is a collaborative and empowering space where healing begins with connection, compassion, and self-awareness. My goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental, and supportive environment where clients can explore and process their emotions freely. I work to validate your experiences while helping you move toward self-development, resilience, and personal growth — at a pace that feels right for you.

Many of us encounter difficult and overwhelming experiences that can leave us feeling lost or disconnected. As a therapist, I see it as a privilege to walk alongside clients as they make sense of these challenges and begin to rediscover their strengths. I meet clients where they are in their journey and offer a space that honours their individual stories.

I use an integrative, client-centred, and trauma-informed approach, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy,  Trauma-informed, Narrative Therapy, and Mindfulness-based practices. My therapeutic style is flexible, intuitive, and tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual. I work with children, adolescents, young adults, older adults, and families.

Clients often describe me as warm, grounded, and easy to connect with. I bring my authentic and empathetic self into every session, with the intention of co-creating a space where healing, insight, and transformation can unfold.

I offer therapy in English, Hindi, and Punjabi.

Outside the therapy room, I enjoy listening to music, spending time with loved ones, practicing yoga, and taking long walks to reflect and recharge. I’m also passionate about engaging in creative projects that help me build a more meaningful relationship with myself — whether it’s through art, learning new skills, or simply finding new ways to stay grounded and present.

Sabrina Freer (She/Her), RP

Location: In-Person and Virtual Sessions Available

Treatment Specialties: BIPOC, anxiety, stress management, relational challenges, self esteem and identity, pregnancy and postpartum, trauma.

Have you been wanting to talk to someone about how you’re feeling? If so, hi, I’m Sabrina!

I believe that we can all benefit from having a safe, supportive space to unpack our feelings and experiences. Especially when you’re in a place where things feel built up and have become quite heavy - mentally, emotionally, physically. You don’t have to navigate this alone. There is strength and courage in reaching out to a therapist.

We will work together to process feelings/emotions and past experiences, find healthy coping tools that feel right for you, foster a positive, realistic inner dialogue, explore self acceptance and self forgiveness.

I am very client centred - I believe you are the expert of your own life. My goal as a therapist is help you feel heard, validated, and support you in building a stronger relationship with yourself. I meet you where you are at - every time. If you relate to this, connect with me for a free consultation and we can explore your goals, needs, fears, worries - and everything in between.

A little bit about me - I am a mom to a baby boy. I am embracing the journey of new motherhood, trying to stay present, practice gratitude and simply just enjoy all of the seasons of change and growth. I love travelling, trying new foods, sunshine and laughter! I am a huge advocate of self care and a healthy balance in life.

Please remember, it is totally okay to not be okay.

Headshot of Sarah Johnston - Rise Psychotherapy

Location: In-Person and Virtual Sessions Available

Treatment Specialties: Trauma, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, identity, stress, suicidal thought, and self-harm.

I believe mental health is an ever-changing journey and sometimes we need a guide for support. I consider it an honour to be your guide, as we work together to consider the whole person. In collaboration, we can explore your unique needs and the experiences that shape who you are.

I have worked in mental health for 10-years predominately with children, youth, young adults, families, and those within the 2SLGBTQIA+ population.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, growing my plant collection, reading, cooking, traveling to new places, and binging my favourite shows.

Andrea Hackett (She/Her), Psychotherapy Intern

Location: Virtual Sessions Available

Treatment Specialties: Anxiety, depression, stress management, communication difficulties, and life transitions.

Hello! I’m Andrea, as a caring and compassionate individual, I aim to provide you with a safe and supportive environment while working towards your therapeutic goals and fostering a strong therapeutic relationship grounded in empathy and understanding. Life can bring a variety of challenges, and I intend to create a space for any challenges and concerns to be explored openly and free of judgment.

I believe in the power of connection; together, we can navigate the therapeutic journey. Tapping into our inner strengths and recognizing how we can bring these into our everyday lives. It is expected to feel intimidated when trying something new, but with the right enthusiasm and motivation, we can work through concerns while adding new skills to your toolbox for later when needed. Whether you are experiencing work stress, anxiety or depression I am confident that we can collectively join together and embrace this new journey.

A bit about me: I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and am currently in the final steps of obtaining a Master's Degree In Counselling Psychology. I embrace diversity and prioritize creating a space that celebrates differences, and I can commit to bringing this mentality into sessions.

I have a very energetic four-year-old boxer at home, so I spend a lot of time getting outside and love finding new hiking trails. When I am not outside, I am usually in the kitchen trying to teach myself how to cook different foods or snuggled up with a good book. I prioritize balance and holistic well-being, so I always look for new ways to fill my cup.

We are faced with many different stressors on a day to day basis. Continuing to feel stuck, overwhelmed, unhappy, and worried can limit your capacity to cope with these difficult feelings. Taking care of yourself can look different for everyone. Having the space to work through your experiences, past and present, can help you understand yourself more.
